F60 error code, induction or radiant cooktop power board communication fault on some Frigidaire models.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Induction and radiant power boards store high voltage; wait several minutes for capacitors to discharge before touching.

• Allow cooling:
  • If the cooktop was used heavily, let it cool for 30 minutes and then restore power to see if F60 clears.
• Access cooktop electronics:
  • Remove the cooktop from the counter if needed and take off the bottom cover to access power boards.
  • Inspect for burnt components, discoloration, or melted connectors.
• Check harness connections:
  • Reseat all connectors between the user interface board and the power modules.
• Replace faulty module: If visible damage is present or F60 persists, replace the cooktop power board module (induction or radiant, as applicable).
