Oven light will not turn on when door opens or when light button is pressed.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before replacing the bulb or socket.

• Replace bulb:
  • Remove the glass light cover inside the oven (usually twists off).
  • Replace with the correct high-temperature appliance bulb (often 40W or 50W halogen or incandescent, per Frigidaire spec).
• Test door switch:
  • Check if the oven light comes on when pressing the door switch manually.
  • Test continuity of the switch; replace if faulty.
• Inspect socket:
  • Look for burnt contacts or loose wiring at the light socket; replace the oven light socket if damaged.
