Induction cooktop shows Er03, controls locked, often after a spill

Safety: Turn off the cooktop and, if necessary, the breaker before cleaning large spills.

• Remove objects: Take away any items resting on the control panel.
• Clean spill: Wipe the glass thoroughly with a soft cloth. For heavy spills, lift the cooktop only if you are trained and the power is disconnected.
• Allow drying: Let the cooktop dry for several hours with power off if a large amount of liquid entered around the controls.
• Power reset: Restore power and test. If Er03 remains with a dry, clear panel, the touch control board may be defective and require replacement.
