Possible Causes
Defective power module for that zone, Faulty current sensor, Internal short on IGBT, Wiring issue between coil and module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power at the breaker and wait several minutes before opening the cooktop. High voltages and stored energy are present.
- Reset: Try a power reset first. If Er47 returns on the same zone, proceed with internal checks.
- Inspect wiring (technician): Remove the cooktop and bottom cover. Inspect the zone power module and coil wiring for burns or loose connectors.
- Compare zones: Swap coil connectors between a working zone and the Er47 zone (if design allows) to see if the error follows the module or the coil.
- Replace module: If the error stays with the module, replace the induction power module for that zone group.
