Possible Causes

Stuck or shorted touchpad key, Moisture or spill on control panel, Faulty oven user interface board, Damaged ribbon cable between keypad and control

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: For external cleaning, you may leave power connected. For internal access, disconnect power at the breaker.

  • Clean the panel: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. Ensure no liquid seeps around the edges of the display or buttons.
  • Check for stuck keys: Gently press each button to ensure it moves freely and is not physically stuck.
  • Power reset: Turn off the range at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power and test.
  • If F0 returns immediately: Disconnect power, remove the control panel per Gaggenau service instructions, and inspect the keypad ribbon cable for corrosion or damage.
  • Replace components: Replace the touch control panel / keypad assembly if keys are shorted. If keypad is good, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
