Possible Causes
Open bake heating element, Faulty bake relay on control board, Loose wiring to bake element, Overtemperature cutoff open
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the oven interior or rear panel.
- Visual check: Inspect the bake element inside the oven for blisters, breaks, or burn marks.
- Test broil: If broil works but bake does not, the issue is likely with the bake circuit.
- Test element: Remove the rear panel or access from inside to disconnect the bake element terminals. Test for continuity with a multimeter.
- Inspect wiring: Check for loose or burned wires at the element and control board.
- Replace parts: Replace the bake element if open. If the element is good, the bake relay on the control board may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
