Possible Causes
Burned-out oven lamp, Faulty lamp socket, Defective door switch, Failed light relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before replacing the lamp or accessing internal components. Use only Gaggenau-approved replacement lamps.
- Replace bulb: Remove the oven lamp cover (usually by twisting) and replace the bulb with the correct type and wattage.
- Test door switch: Open and close the door to see if the light flickers. If so, the door switch may be faulty.
- Inspect socket: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the lamp socket for corrosion or heat damage.
- Control issue (technician): If socket and switch are good, the control board light relay may have failed and the board should be replaced.
