Possible Causes
Failed spark module, No 120V power to range, Defective ignition switch harness on burner valves
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off gas and disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Check power: Verify the range has power (clock/display on). If not, check breaker and outlet.
- Listen for clicks: If no burners click when any knob is turned to Lite, suspect the spark module or switch harness.
- Inspect spark module: Access the spark module under the cooktop or behind the control panel. Look for burnt spots or melted casing.
- Test switches: With power off, check continuity of the ignition switches on the burner valves when turned to Lite. Replace the switch harness if open.
- Replace spark module: If switches are good and power is present, replace the spark module with an OEM GE Profile part.
