Possible Causes
Failed induction module (for induction models), Open radiant element, Faulty pan detection sensor, Incorrect cookware on induction zone
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the cooktop glass.
- Check cookware (induction): Ensure you are using ferromagnetic cookware (a magnet should stick to the bottom). The pan must be flat and cover the marked area.
- Try another zone: Test the same pan on a different burner. If it works elsewhere, the original zone has a fault.
- Inspect element: Remove the cooktop glass and visually inspect the radiant or induction element for cracks, burn marks, or broken coils.
- Test continuity: Use a multimeter to check continuity of the suspect element or induction coil. Replace if open.
- Check wiring: Verify all spade connectors are tight and not overheated.
