Beeping, oven display shows F0, sometimes intermittent beeping even when not using the oven

Safety first: Turn the range OFF at the breaker or unplug it before removing any panels. Capacitors on the control board can hold a charge; avoid touching bare circuitry.

Steps to try:

• Power reset: Turn the breaker off for 5 minutes, then restore power. If F0 returns immediately, the keypad or control board is likely faulty.
• Check for stuck keys: Gently press each button on the control panel several times. If any key feels stuck or does not click, the touchpad membrane may be shorted.
• Inspect for moisture/grease: If the error started after a boil-over or heavy cleaning, moisture may be inside the keypad. Leave power off for several hours to dry. Do not use a hair dryer directly on the panel.
• Access the control panel: Remove the backguard or front control panel screws (varies by model). Carefully pull the panel forward to expose the keypad ribbon cable.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect the keypad ribbon from the electronic oven control (EOC), inspect for corrosion or burnt spots, then reconnect firmly.
• If F0 persists with keypad connected but stops when keypad is unplugged: Replace the keypad/touchpad assembly. If it persists even with keypad unplugged, replace the electronic oven control board.
