Display shows PF or Power Failure, clock resets, oven cancels cooking

Safety: Ensure power is off before checking connections.

• Confirm household power: Check that the range's breaker is fully in the ON position and not partially tripped.
• Inspect power cord: For freestanding ranges, pull the unit out and verify the cord is firmly plugged into the 240V receptacle and that the cord is not damaged.
• Reset clock: After power is stable, reset the clock and test oven and cooktop functions.
• If PF recurs frequently: Have an electrician check the circuit. If house power is stable, the range's internal power supply on the control board may be failing and require board replacement.
