Possible Causes
Household power outage, Loose power cord connection, Tripped breaker or poor contact at breaker, Internal control power supply issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Ensure power is off before checking connections.
- Confirm household power: Check that the range's breaker is fully in the ON position and not partially tripped.
- Inspect power cord: For freestanding ranges, pull the unit out and verify the cord is firmly plugged into the 240V receptacle and that the cord is not damaged.
- Reset clock: After power is stable, reset the clock and test oven and cooktop functions.
- If PF recurs frequently: Have an electrician check the circuit. If house power is stable, the range's internal power supply on the control board may be failing and require board replacement.
