Possible Causes
Out-of-range oven temperature sensor, Poor sensor connection at control, Faulty control board temperature circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before testing.
- Sensor test: Remove and test the oven sensor as described for F3/F4. Compare resistance to GE sensor chart (approx. 1080 Ω at 70°F, 1650 Ω at 350°F).
- Connector check: Inspect the sensor connector at the control board for tight fit and no corrosion.
- Replace sensor: If readings are out of spec, install a new GE-compatible RTD sensor.
- Control board: If a known-good sensor still triggers F30, replace the EOC.
