Possible Causes

Shorted RTD sensor, Sensor wiring shorted to chassis, Failed control board input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power.

  • Inspect sensor wiring: Remove the sensor and check for pinched or bare wires touching metal.
  • Resistance test: Measure sensor resistance; near 0 Ω indicates a short. Replace sensor.
  • Harness test: With sensor disconnected, check each sensor lead to chassis ground for continuity. Any reading indicates a shorted harness.
  • Control board: If sensor and harness are good, replace the EOC.
