How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and allow oven to cool.
- Inspect broil element: Look for visible breaks or burn marks on the upper element.
- Continuity test: Remove mounting screws, pull element forward, disconnect wires, and test with a multimeter. Replace if open.
- Check wiring: Repair any burned or loose wires at the element terminals.
- Control board: If element and wiring are good, replace the EOC.
