Electric oven heats but temperature is inaccurate or unstable

Safety first: Turn off power before accessing the rear of the oven or control panel.

• Verify with thermometer: Place an oven thermometer in the center of the cavity and compare actual temperature to the set temperature over several cycles.
• Check sensor resistance: For sensor-equipped models, measure the oven sensor resistance at room temperature and compare to Glem Gas specifications. Replace if out of range.
• Inspect wiring: Ensure sensor wires and connectors are secure and not heat-damaged.
• Thermostat replacement: On models with a mechanical thermostat, replace the thermostat if temperature swings are large or the knob position does not match actual temperature.
• Control calibration: Some electronic controls allow offset calibration in the user menu. Adjust within the allowed range if the error is small.
