Pan Detection / Frequency Error
Induction cooktop displays E4 when a pan is placed on the zone

Possible Causes
Non-compatible cookware, Pan too small for the zone, Faulty pan detection circuit on power module, Misaligned induction coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the glass surface is cool before handling cookware or cleaning.
- Use correct cookware: Verify that the pan is induction-compatible (magnetic base). The base should cover at least 60–70% of the marked cooking zone.
- Center the pan: Place the pan centrally on the zone. Off-center placement can cause detection errors.
- Test with another pan: Try a different, known induction-compatible pot. If E4 only occurs with one pan, replace that cookware.
- Clean glass surface: Wipe the zone with a soft cloth to remove any residue that might affect detection.
- Internal fault: If E4 appears with multiple suitable pans, the pan detection circuit or coil alignment may be faulty. This requires removal of the cooktop and inspection of the coil mounting and power module by a technician.
