Cooktop or range briefly shows 'Err' when attempting to start a burner

Safety first: Ensure all burners are off and surfaces are cool before troubleshooting.

• Check child lock: Refer to the Glem Gas user manual for the specific model to disable the child lock (often by holding a key symbol or combination for several seconds).
• Clear inputs: Touch the On/Off key to reset the cooktop, then select a single zone and power level.
• Avoid resting objects: Remove any objects (cloths, utensils) from the touch area that may press multiple keys.
• Power reset: If 'Err' persists, turn off power at the breaker for 2–3 minutes and restore.
• Panel fault: If the error continues and keys do not respond correctly, the touch control panel may be defective and require replacement.
