Possible Causes
Membrane keypad shorted, Debris or moisture under keypad, Damaged ribbon cable between keypad and clock module, Faulty clock/timer PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the range from mains power before removing the control panel.
- Clean keypad surface: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. Do not allow liquid to run behind the panel.
- Power reset: Restore power and test. If F0 returns when certain keys are pressed, note which ones.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and check the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the clock/timer board. Reseat the connector and inspect for cracks or corrosion.
- Keypad test: If available, use the built-in diagnostic mode (refer to Glem Gas service manual) to test individual keys.
- Replace keypad or control: If keys remain stuck or F0 persists, replace the membrane keypad assembly. On some models, the keypad and clock are a single assembly and must be replaced together.
