Oven turns off before reaching set temperature or cuts out intermittently

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before inspection.

• Check vents and fan: Ensure all vents are clear and the cooling fan operates. Clean any dust or grease buildup.
• Reset safety thermostat: If your model has a manual-reset safety thermostat, press the reset button once the oven is cool.
• Inspect wiring: Check connections to the safety thermostat and temperature sensor for looseness or heat damage.
• Replace faulty thermostat: If the safety thermostat trips repeatedly despite good ventilation, replace it with the correct Glem Gas part.
• Service if unresolved: Persistent cut-outs may indicate deeper insulation or control issues and should be checked by a technician.
