Possible Causes
Non-magnetic cookware, pan base too small for zone, warped pan bottom, faulty induction coil sensor on Gorenje hob
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooktop surface is cool before touching the glass.
- Check cookware: Use a flat-bottomed, ferromagnetic pan (a magnet should stick firmly to the base). Avoid aluminum, copper, or glass unless they are induction-compatible.
- Match pan size to zone: Make sure the pan base covers the marked cooking zone. Very small pans may not be detected.
- Center the pan: Place the pan centrally on the zone and select a power level again.
- Test with another pan: Try a different known induction-compatible pot. If E0 persists only on one zone with good cookware, the zone’s coil sensor or power module may be faulty and require professional service.
Note: Slight humming or clicking is normal when induction is working; absence of any sound with E0 suggests the zone is not energizing.
