Possible Causes
Incorrect wiring of hob (single-phase vs three-phase), low mains voltage, loose connection at terminal block, shared circuit overloaded
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the distribution board before opening the connection box.
- Verify wiring: Compare the wiring at the hob’s terminal block with the Gorenje installation diagram (usually on the underside of the hob). Ensure phase, neutral, and earth are correctly connected and any required bridges are installed.
- Check tightness: Tighten all terminal screws to the specified torque. Loose connections can cause voltage drops and overheating.
- Measure voltage: With a multimeter (by a qualified person), measure the supply voltage under load. It should be within the range specified on the rating plate (e.g., 220–240 V).
- Dedicated circuit: Ensure the hob is on a dedicated circuit with the correct breaker size. Overloaded circuits can cause voltage sag and E3 errors.
Note: Persistent supply issues should be addressed by a licensed electrician, not by appliance repair alone.
