Cooktop controls show an L symbol and do not respond to touch inputs.

Safety first: Ensure no active cooking is needed before changing lock settings.

• Unlock sequence: Press and hold the key symbol or lock icon (varies by model) for 3–5 seconds until the L disappears. On some Gorenje models, you may need to press two keys simultaneously as indicated in the user manual.
• Clean the panel: If the lock will not disengage, clean and dry the touch area to ensure proper key detection.
• Power reset: If the symbol remains stuck, switch off the hob at the breaker for a few minutes and try again.

Note: Child lock is a normal feature, not a fault. Refer to the user manual for the exact key combination.
