Safety first: Turn off power and ensure the oven is cool.

Check fan operation: Select a convection mode and listen for fan noise. If silent, proceed with inspection.
Access fan: Remove the rear panel inside the oven cavity (usually held by screws) to expose the convection fan blade and motor shaft.
Spin test: Try turning the fan blade by hand. It should rotate freely. If stiff or jammed, the motor is likely faulty and must be replaced.
External access: From the back of the oven, access the motor terminals. Check for loose wires or burned connectors.
Electrical test: A technician should verify that the motor receives the correct voltage in convection mode. If voltage is present but the motor does not run, replace the fan motor.
