Possible Causes
Burned-out oven bulb, corroded lamp holder contacts, faulty oven light switch or relay, broken lamp glass cover
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power to the oven. The lamp area may be hot; allow it to cool.
- Replace bulb: Unscrew or unclip the glass lamp cover inside the oven. Remove the bulb and replace it with a high-temperature oven bulb of the same type and wattage specified by Gorenje.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for corrosion or burned contacts in the lamp holder. Clean lightly if needed; replace the holder if damaged.
- Test light function: Restore power and press the light button or open the door (depending on model) to test.
- Further checks: If a new bulb does not light, the light switch, door switch, or control relay may be faulty and should be tested by a technician.
