Possible Causes

Broken oven temperature sensor (NTC) probe, Disconnected sensor harness, Damaged connector at control board, Faulty electronic oven control (EOC)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the oven.

  • Locate sensor: Inside the oven cavity, find the thin metal probe (usually at the back wall, upper area). Remove the mounting screws and gently pull the sensor forward.
  • Check connection: Disconnect the sensor plug and inspect for corrosion or loose pins. Reseat the connector firmly.
  • Measure resistance: With a multimeter, measure the sensor resistance at room temperature. Typical values are around 1000–1100 Ω at 20–25°C (check Gram specs). Infinite resistance indicates an open sensor.
  • Replace sensor: If readings are out of range, replace the sensor with the correct Gram oven temperature sensor. Route the wiring through the insulation carefully to avoid damage.
  • Control board check: If a known-good sensor still results in F0, the EOC may have a faulty input and require replacement.

Warning: Do not pull the sensor wiring excessively; you can damage internal harnesses.
