Possible Causes

Liquid spill into keypad, Shorted keypad membrane, Damaged ribbon cable, Faulty EOC keypad interface

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.

  • Dry out moisture: If F7 appeared after a spill or cleaning, leave the oven disconnected for 12–24 hours to allow the keypad area to dry completely.
  • Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel rear cover and check the keypad ribbon for signs of corrosion or damage. Clean contacts and reseat.
  • Visual inspection: Look for signs of arcing or carbon tracks on the keypad PCB (if separate). Replace the keypad or entire control panel if damaged.
  • Replace EOC if needed: If a new keypad does not resolve F7, the EOC may have a shorted input and must be replaced.

Warning: Avoid using aggressive cleaners on the control panel; they can damage the membrane and seals.
