Possible Causes
Burned-out oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder, Broken lamp glass cover, Faulty light switch or EOC output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power before replacing the bulb to avoid electric shock and burns.
- Replace bulb: Unscrew or unclip the glass lamp cover inside the oven. Remove the bulb and replace with a high-temperature oven bulb of the same wattage and base type.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for signs of heat damage or corrosion in the lamp holder. Replace the holder if contacts are burned or loose.
- Test light switch: On models with a manual light switch, test for continuity when switched on. Replace the switch if faulty.
- Control output: On electronic models, if the bulb and holder are good but the light never comes on, the EOC light relay or triac may have failed and the board may need replacement.
Warning: Use only oven-rated bulbs; standard bulbs cannot withstand the temperature.
