Loose harness between user interface and power board, Incorrect configuration after power-up, Faulty main control board, Software glitch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker for at least 5 minutes.
- Power cycle: Restore power and observe if E0 clears. If it does, monitor for recurrence.
- Check internal connections: Remove the rear or bottom panel to access the control boards. Inspect and reseat all multi-pin connectors between the display/UI board and the power/control board.
- Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components, corrosion, or signs of moisture on the boards.
- Configuration reset: Some Haier models allow a factory reset via a key combination (refer to the service manual). Perform a reset if available.
- Replace control: If E0 persists and wiring is intact, replace the main control board or user interface board as specified for your model.
If the unit is under warranty, contact Haier service before replacing electronic parts.
