Electronic control panel is unresponsive or shows F1 and beeps continuously on a Haier range

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing any panels. Do not work on live circuits.

• Power reset: Turn the range breaker OFF for 5 minutes, then back ON. If F1 clears and does not return, it may have been a transient glitch.
• Check for moisture/spills: Inspect the control panel area for signs of liquid spills or steam damage. Allow the panel to dry for several hours with power disconnected. Do not use a hair dryer or heat gun directly on the panel.
• Inspect keypad ribbon cable: Remove the back cover behind the control panel. Locate the flat ribbon cable from the touchpad to the main control board. Reseat it carefully, ensuring it is fully inserted and not corroded or damaged.
• Test keypad: With power restored, test all buttons. If some keys do not respond or F1 reappears, the touchpad membrane is likely shorted.
• Replace faulty component: If reseating does not help, replace the touch control panel / keypad assembly. On some Haier models, the keypad is integrated with the electronic oven control (EOC); in that case, replace the entire control board assembly.

If you smell burning or see scorch marks on the board, stop and contact a qualified technician.
