How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker. If recently installed, verify correct wiring against the installation manual.
- Power reset: Leave the unit unpowered for 10–15 minutes to discharge the control. Restore power and see if F5 clears.
- Inspect control board: Remove the rear panel behind the control. Look for burnt spots, cracked solder joints, or melted relay housings.
- Check terminal block: Verify that L1, L2, and neutral are correctly connected and tight at the range terminal block. Loose connections can cause control errors.
- Replace control board: If visual inspection shows damage or F5 returns immediately after reset, replace the electronic oven control (EOC) with a Haier-specified part.
