Haier oven light does not turn on when door is opened or when light button is pressed

Safety first: Turn off power or unplug the range before replacing the bulb. Allow the oven to cool.

• Replace bulb: Remove the light cover inside the oven, unscrew the bulb, and replace with a high-temperature oven bulb of the correct wattage.
• Test door switch: Press the door switch plunger by hand and listen for a click. If it feels loose or does not click, test for continuity and replace if faulty.
• Check socket: Inspect the bulb socket for corrosion or loose contacts. Tighten or replace as needed.
• Control board: If the bulb, switch, and socket are good, the light relay on the control board may have failed and the board may need replacement.

Use only bulbs rated for oven use; regular bulbs can shatter from heat.
