Possible Causes
Broken temperature sensor, Disconnected sensor plug, Cut or burnt sensor wiring, Faulty sensor connector on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power.
- Access sensor: Locate the oven temperature sensor at the rear of the cavity and access its wiring from the back panel.
- Check continuity: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance. Infinite resistance indicates an open sensor that must be replaced.
- Inspect wiring: Look for damage where the sensor wires pass through the oven wall grommet. Repair or replace damaged wiring with heat-resistant cable.
- Reseat PCB connector: Ensure the sensor connector is firmly seated on the main control board.
- Replace sensor: Install a new Hansa oven temperature sensor if the original is open or intermittent.
