F5 error on oven display, grill or top element not working

Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains and verify it is de-energized.

• Element inspection: Visually inspect the grill element at the top of the oven for breaks, blisters, or burn marks.
• Continuity test: Access the element terminals from the rear and test for continuity with a multimeter. Infinite resistance indicates a failed element.
• Check wiring and connectors: Inspect the wires and terminals for heat damage or loose connections. Repair or replace as needed.
• Selector switch / relay: On knob-controlled models, test the function selector switch contacts for continuity in grill mode. On electronic models, check the grill relay on the PCB.
• Replace faulty parts: Replace the Hansa grill heating element, selector switch, or main control PCB depending on findings.
