Possible Causes

Failed convection fan motor, Open fan heating element, Obstructed fan blades, Faulty selector switch or relay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool.

  • Check fan operation: In a fan-only or fan-assisted mode, listen for the convection fan. If silent, the motor may be faulty.
  • Inspect fan blades: Remove the rear panel inside the oven cavity to access the fan. Clean off grease and debris. Ensure the blades spin freely by hand.
  • Test motor and element: From the rear of the appliance, test the convection fan motor and fan element for continuity.
  • Selector / relay: Verify that the function selector switch sends power to the fan and element in the correct modes, or that the PCB relay operates.
  • Replace components: Replace the Hansa convection fan motor or fan heating element if open or seized.
