Possible Causes
Failed timer PCB, Power surge damage, Loose timer connectors, Internal relay failure in timer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power.
- Reset timer: After power is restored, set the time of day and ensure the oven is not in automatic (programmed) mode. Many Hansa ovens will not heat until the clock is set.
- Check wiring: Remove the control panel and inspect the timer module connections. Reseat plugs and look for burnt pins.
- Manual override: On some models, you can bypass the timer by setting it to manual mode (hand symbol). Consult the user manual.
- Replace timer: If F7 persists and the timer display is blank or erratic, replace the Hansa electronic timer / clock module.
