Possible Causes
Wrong gas injectors for gas type, Blocked burner air inlets, Incorrect primary air adjustment, Low or high gas pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the burner and allow it to cool before disassembly. Ensure good ventilation.
- Clean burner: Remove burner caps and heads. Clean all ports and air inlets thoroughly.
- Check flame color: After cleaning, relight. A correct flame is mostly blue with small yellow tips.
- Verify gas type: Confirm that the range is configured for the gas type in use (natural gas vs LPG) and that the correct Hansa gas injectors are installed. This must be checked by a gas technician.
- Adjust air (if applicable): Some burners have adjustable air shutters. A technician can adjust these to correct the flame.
Warning: Do not attempt to drill or modify injectors. Gas adjustments must be done by a licensed gas fitter.
