Possible Causes
Tripped household breaker, Blown internal thermal fuse, Faulty function selector switch, Defective main control board relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before opening any panels.
- Check supply: Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped and that the range is receiving correct voltage.
- Inspect thermal fuse: Many Hansa ovens have a thermal fuse on the rear or top of the cavity. Test for continuity and replace the Hansa thermal fuse if open.
- Function selector: On knob-controlled models, test the function selector switch for continuity in each heating mode.
- Control board relays: On electronic models, listen for relay clicks when starting a heating cycle. If none, or if relays are burnt, replace the main control PCB.
Warning: A blown thermal fuse usually indicates prior overheating. Investigate cooling fan and ventilation before returning the oven to service.
