How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before accessing fans.
- Identify fan: Determine if the noise comes from the internal convection fan or the external cooling fan.
- Convection fan: Remove the oven back panel inside the cavity to access the fan blade. Tighten the mounting nut and remove any debris. Replace the fan blade if bent.
- Cooling fan: Access from the rear of the range. Check for loose mounting screws and foreign objects. If the motor shaft has play or squeals, replace the fan motor.
- Test after repair: Run the oven and confirm the noise is resolved.
