Possible Causes

Prolonged high-power cooking, Blocked airflow, Defective NTC sensor on coil

Safety first: Turn off the cooktop and allow it to cool.

Let it rest: Wait 20–30 minutes, then try again at a lower power setting.
Check ventilation: Ensure nothing is blocking the underside of the cooktop.
Service sensor: If E2 recurs quickly on the same zone, the temperature sensor on that coil may be faulty and should be inspected and replaced by a technician.
