Possible Causes
Broken oven temperature sensor, Disconnected sensor plug at rear of oven, Cut or burned sensor wiring harness, Faulty sensor input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power at the breaker before testing.
- Access sensor: Remove the rear panel to locate the oven sensor. Check that its connector is firmly plugged into the harness.
- Continuity test: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance. An open reading (OL) indicates a failed sensor that must be replaced.
- Harness check: If the sensor tests good, test continuity from the sensor connector to the control board connector. Repair any open wires or replace the harness.
- Control board: If sensor and wiring are intact but F3 persists, the EOC sensor circuit is likely defective and requires board replacement.
