How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off gas supply at the shutoff valve and disconnect power before servicing. Avoid open flames.
- Check power: Verify the range is plugged in and the outlet has power. The igniters require electricity even on gas models.
- Listen for any clicks: Turn each burner knob to the ignite position. If none click, the spark module or power feed is suspect.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the rear or side panels to access the spark module. Ensure the module is securely mounted and all wires are connected.
- Test knob switches: Each burner valve has a small switch that closes in the ignite position. Check for loose or broken switch wires. Replace faulty switches.
- Replace spark module: If switches have power but no output to igniters, replace the Ilve spark module with the correct part.
