Indesit oven shows F09, some functions may work intermittently, clock resets randomly

Safety: Disconnect from mains before accessing electronics.

Steps:

• 1. Power reset: Turn off the breaker or unplug the cooker for at least 10–15 minutes to fully discharge the control board. Restore power and check if F09 clears.
• 2. Check supply stability: Ensure the cooker is on a dedicated circuit and that there are no frequent power cuts or brownouts. Consider using a surge protector if local supply is unstable.
• 3. Inspect control board: Access the main control module and look for signs of overheating or moisture damage.
• 4. Firmware/board replacement: On most Indesit ranges, an F09 memory error requires replacement of the control board, as reprogramming in the field is not supported for end users.
