Indesit oven door seal is loose, torn, or heat escapes around door edges

Safety: Allow oven to cool completely before working on the seal.

Steps:

• 1. Inspect seal: Check the entire perimeter of the door gasket for tears, gaps, or missing sections.
• 2. Remove old seal: Gently pull the seal away from the retaining holes or clips around the cavity frame.
• 3. Clean channel: Wipe the groove or holes free of grease and debris.
• 4. Fit new seal: Press the new Indesit door gasket into place, ensuring each clip or peg is fully seated and the seal is not twisted.
• 5. Test closure: Close the door and check for even contact all around.
