Indesit oven light does not work but oven heats normally

Safety: Switch off power. Oven bulbs are heat-resistant but still operate at mains voltage.

Steps:

• 1. Replace bulb: Unscrew the glass lamp cover inside the oven (use a cloth for grip). Replace the bulb with a high-temperature, Indesit-compatible oven lamp of the same wattage and base type.
• 2. Inspect lamp holder: If the new bulb does not work, inspect the lamp holder for burnt contacts or corrosion. Replace if damaged.
• 3. Check wiring: From the rear, verify that the lamp wires are firmly connected and not heat-damaged.
