Possible Causes
Burned-out oven bulb, Faulty door switch, Failed light relay on EOC, Loose light socket wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before replacing the bulb or accessing wiring.
- Replace bulb: Remove the light cover inside the oven, unscrew the bulb, and replace with the correct high-temperature oven bulb (check wattage and base type). Restore power and test.
- Check door switch: Locate the door switch on the frame. Press it manually and listen for a click. Test continuity with a multimeter; replace if it does not change state when pressed.
- Inspect socket and wiring: Check the light socket for corrosion or burned contacts. Repair or replace as needed.
- Control board: If the bulb, switch, and wiring are good, the EOC light relay may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
