Electric JennAir oven does not heat on broil; bake works (no error code)

Safety: Turn off power at the breaker.

• Inspect broil element: Look at the top element for cracks, breaks, or burn marks.
• Test continuity: Access the rear of the range, disconnect broil element wires, and test with a meter. Replace if open.
• Replace element: Remove mounting screws inside the oven, pull the element forward, connect the new JennAir-compatible broil element, and secure it.
• Control check: If the element is good but never energizes, the broil relay on the control board may be defective.
