How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Locate sensor: Find the sensor probe inside the oven and remove its mounting screws.
- Test sensor: Disconnect and measure resistance at room temperature (about 1050–1100 ohms). Replace if open, shorted, or far out of range.
- Inspect harness: From the rear, check the sensor wiring for damage or shorts to chassis. Repair or replace as needed.
- Replace sensor: Install a new JennAir-compatible oven temperature sensor and reconnect wiring.
