Possible Causes
Loose convection fan blade, Debris caught in fan, Worn fan motor bearings, Bent fan blade
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool.
- Access fan: Remove the convection fan cover inside the oven (usually held by screws).
- Inspect blade: Check for loose screws, bent blades, or debris. Tighten screws and remove any foreign objects.
- Spin test: Gently spin the fan by hand. If it feels rough or wobbly, the motor bearings may be worn.
- Replace fan motor: Access the motor from the rear of the range, remove mounting hardware, disconnect wiring, and install a new JennAir-compatible convection fan motor and blade if needed.
