How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before touching internal components.
- Check elements: During preheat, verify that the bake element glows evenly along its entire length. Replace if any section stays dark.
- Convection fan: For convection models, ensure the fan runs during convection bake and that the fan cover is not blocked by foil or pans.
- Rack placement: Follow JennAir's recommended rack positions for different foods in the user manual.
- Rotate pans: For very large items, rotate the pan halfway through cooking to even out browning.
- Calibrate oven: Adjust the oven temperature offset if actual temperatures are consistently off.
