JennAir oven light will not turn on; bulb replacement does not help (no error code)

Safety: Disconnect power before working on the light circuit.

• Confirm bulb: Ensure you are using the correct type and wattage of oven-rated bulb recommended by JennAir.
• Check socket: Inspect the light socket for corrosion or burn marks. Test for power at the socket when the light should be on (requires live-voltage testing by a qualified person).
• Door switch: Press the door switch repeatedly; if the oven light flickers or never comes on, the switch may be faulty. Replace the door switch if it does not change state with a meter.
• Replace socket or switch: Install a new JennAir-compatible light socket or door switch as indicated by testing.
• Control board: If the socket and switch are good but the control never sends power, the light relay on the control board may have failed.
